Lille Healthcare was recently nominated as a finalist in the ACS State Award for Excellence – industry supporter category. The award recognised excellence in the development of products, services and other support to the aged care industry. Indeed, Lille Healthcare’s overall commitment resonates the improvement of continence care and management for residents, carers and healthcare professionals.
Bruce Salmon, Buisness Unit Manager states that “whilst we supply continence aids into the aged care market, Lille Healthcare is more than that. Our Continence Management Solution which incorporates The Continence Institute education program and our LilleCARE evaluation report endeavours to provide greater transparency, education and financial accountability to allow the customer the ability to look after their greatest responsibility – their residents”
Lille Healthcare’s disposable and washable range of continence aids are tailored for all users with varying types and degrees of incontinence. Lille Healthcare products are the only disposable continence aid range that are 100% breathable, while the Lille air technology adds more comfort and dignity for the user.
The TCI program provides education services to healthcare professionals, many of whom are vital participants of the aged care industry. TCI workshops are the only education sessions to be researched, developed and presented by a qualified group of Clinical Nurse Advisors. The program focuses on all aspects of continence assessment, management and treatment through such education, along with continence related resource evaluation (LilleCARE) and accreditation audits and consultation.
These factors attributed Lille Healthcare as a finalist in the award ceremony – where the company was granted an Award seal along with a certificate of recognition. Without a doubt the nomination has demonstrated Lille Healthcare’s credibility to our partners, while being a source of motivation for the staff internally.
Salmon concludes by claiming “nomination by our customers reinforces that what we are doing is working and our ongoing use of our continence management solution program will only see the bar raised even further”.
